Saxon square brooch
This handmade brooch was inspired by one of the sword bosses in the saxon staffordshire hoard.
It has been cut out of brass by hand and soldered to a copper base.The copper has then been lightly textured and heat treated to give it its colour.
The brooch fastenings on the back are silver, a mixture of sterling and brilliante.
It is about 4cm or 1 1/2 inches across.
It is lacquered and will come in a handmade woolen storage pouch
