Silver & Rock Crystal Necklace

Saxon inspired Sterling Silver pendant with faceted natural crystal dangle, the necklace also has a geometric Aztec feel about it too. 

I sawed this by hand from silver sheet and domed it slightly with a hammer.I have deliberately left the hammer marks in to give it extra reflectivity, and to echo the faceting on the crystal.

Please note this is a natural crystal which I felt was more in keeping with the medieval theme,and is therefore not shiny and perfect like a glass or Swarovski one.

The chain and catch in this piece are also Sterling Silver. The chain itself is about 16 inches long and the cut work pendant, hole to hole is about 1 3/4 inches. From the upper middle of the silver to the bottom of the crystal is about 2 1/4 inches.
